For your own specific requirements the existing soccer exercises can be altered. For starters I have shared my experiences for forming a creative soccer training program.
Your plans should be flexible. It is natural that all your plans may not work out as desired. If it rains, the kids may get sick or may not turn up. Make sure you have adequately covered all the potential obstructers.
We should have plenty of planned soccer practice games. If there is any delay in executing the plan you can go to the next item by deleting it. Go through the motions and you can figure out what works best with the kids.
All the kids should warm up before any practice session. Apart from warming up the body by regular soccer drill the kids should use the soccer ball also. The kids should practice kicking the ball around between their feet’s and kick the ball around.
There are a variety of such free soccer drills that can warm up the players by way of a fun activity.
A soccer ball is made available to each of the soccer player. Using the ball the players planning should be done for many individual activities. Activities such as shooting, dribbling and hitting the ball against the wall should be practiced. Avoid using any lines or marks with a view to keep the movement free as far as possible.
The players in soccer coaching should be indulged in group activities upon completion of the individual activities. The drills like passing and receiving the balls are lot of fun. Without a goal keeper the kids should play soccer in teams. The players should be allowed to hit the goals without setting them any boundaries.
Also, teach them to first attack and then defend. This style of coaching will enable the players to develop their own style.
During group activities the players should be grouped together as a team. Generally the kids will require some time to adjust to the concept of team play while shifting from individual to group activities. The nature of interaction between coach and the players should be that of guidance only.
Make them realize the concept of interdependence to win matches. The players learn to work as a team, practice in a limited area while not doing much the ball, this is the biggest impact of this drill.
One of the easiest ways to conduct soccer exercise is this. Mix and match various free soccer drills that you think is the best way to teach the kids to learn.
